The Playhouse has recently installed new state of the art cinema equipment and decided the film festival is the ideal opportunity to promote what promises to be a new and exciting chapter in the Playhouse history.

The cinema project will compliment the existing activities of presenting live theatre and music events.

This year’s Rural Action Film Festival selection is from an international collection of films, featuring local traditions, social issues, environment and sustainability, all centred around rural life and activities. Some are fictional drama while others are documentories.
